The public bus system in Wuxi is not bad. Sometimes, I can ride the bus for interest’s sake because the buses are cheap and run frequently. On the last day of my CNY holiday, I took Tony on the bus and we got off near where I took all the photos below. It was all very interesting and yet at the same time it was somehow grim and soulless. There was a canal, some bridges, a modern freeway, and a big modern factory. But in amongst it all there was all this trash, swampland, trees, dust, farmland, hovels, and decay.
