Bachelor Party Saturday night. An amazing occurrence. Three more photos from my wedding album. A Fun Fact about Patterson.

By the time you read this, I may have been already handcuffed to a light pole at the intersection of Zhongshan and Renmin Roads.  If you are reading this Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon, it is not too late to witness my humiliation.  My bachelor party will take place Saturday 730 PM at the Blue Bar.  Stu will put on a good spread of food.  DJ Lester Les will play cool music that I requested.

Friday, I went for lunch at the Bellezza Restaurant near the Ramada and DVD alley.  I ate my so-so meal, and walked out.  I got to the end of the alleyway that the Restaurant is located in and realized I had forgotten my umbrella.  So I turned around to go back, and standing not three feet from me was one of girls from the restaurant holding my umbrella.  A fortuitous bit of timing.

I saw the bus stop beggar again Friday morning.  He greeted me by waving his cup-o-coins at me.

I have not seen Borat in the DVD shops.  I like countless others have been waiting and waiting.

You gotta to love Ritz Crackers.

I have the next two days off from work and away from an Internet connection, so below are three pictures from my wedding photo album.  You can see the entire photo album here.

The above photo is a variation on the shot that now adorns the wall in our apartment.  I looked somewhat befuddled because I don’t know where I am is supposed to be looking.

Get us out of the desert!!!  Please!!!

When Mrs K sees me smiling like that, she suspects I have passed wind.  Be that as it may, this is one of my favorite photos from the album.  I smile the smile of reason:

This picture of Voltaire allows me a perfect transition to my next feature:

Yes, I discovered a fun little-known and little-suspected fact about Patterson.  His favorite book is Candide by Voltaire.  "If this is the best of all possible worlds, what are the others?" "A lady of honor may be raped once, but it strengthens her virtue."  He can quote from heart from that book.  He handed me a back-handed compliment with his observation that I do look like the above picture of Voltaire.  So much is there a resemblance  that it freaked him out.
